For those of you who have not heard, Google bought Jaiku, probably the biggest competitor to Twitter. Reason this has any relation to Python is that Jaiku is written in Python, using such things as Twisted and Django. They also have a #python channel, although it is usually quiet. I also just created the #PyCon channel.
I joined the service about two weeks ago (been happy with the service so far) and so I made it under the account lock-down triggered by the buy-out. If you want an invite just email me. Preference to people I know then total strangers. =)
