I hate managing my CV. People want various file formats, there is always just a ton of info; it's just a pain. And so I have long considered coming up with an XML schema and an app to help manage the data and then use templates to generate plaintext, XHTML, and LaTeX versions (LaTeX also covers PDFs).
But maybe having an OWL ontology would be better. This might provide a more searchable mechanism for companies looking for certain things. Or the idea might just be because I wrote a paper involving OWL and the Semantic Web. =) Anyway, random thought.
